Husky Productions is Donna Quante, Donna Quante is Husky Productions. Skilled in most aspects of video production after 35 years in network television, Donna has worked just about every type of production. The owner of three National Emmy Awards (camera operation: Benson, 1985; Golden Girls, 1986 and the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles), two Regional Emmy Awards (Orioles Baseball on HTS) Donna enjoys the variety of experiences working in television has to offer.

In 2006, Donna packed her 4 sled dogs and moved from the East Coast to Alaska. Her love of Siberian Huskies lead her to make a movie about Iditarod musher Karen Ramstead who runs an all Siberian team. (Pretty Sled Dogs) Well received, she followed it up with See You In Nome!, a movie about an Iditarod rookie, Sven Haltmann. In between, Donna has produced movies for the Musk Ox Farm in Palmer,shot video for the Willow Jr 100 Sled Dog race, provided still photos and web interviews with mushers for DogSled.com--now GoMush.com and provided unique portraits for area high school seniors for their yearbooks and for Willow area organizations.

When Donna, in the guise of Husky Productions, needs help with a production, she has an amazing array of talented people to call upon. From Kyf Brewer and Jim Parkinson of the band Barleyjuice, Donna gets some of the nicest mushing music you will ever hear. These guys get what mushing is all about. From Jan DeNapoli, master still photographer, Donna gets incredible back up photographs to further enrich her video productions. From Carol Wetovich, web designer, this website is her design and construction. Donna has a host of other folks to go to for any type of production assistance. These are the kind of relationships that come from hard work and maintaining friendships made over the years of working in the business. If Donna can't do it, she knows someone who can.
