An Iditarod Rookie Journey
Husky Productions (Pretty Sled Dogs) has produced it's second DVD about what it takes to run the Iditarod sled dog race. This time, Sven Haltmann takes you on his journey to reach the start and go all the way to Nome, the finish. With a good attitude and happy Alaskan Huskies, Sven shows us all the work that happens before the race. The qualifying races, the training races, the drop bag preparation, and of course, the dogs. No one goes anywhere without the dogs. Sven's commentary throughout the video gives insight to beginners and veterans alike. Jump on the runners with Sven...and we'll See You In Nome!

I got the dvd yesterday -- the PO was fast!  And your movie is SO COOL!  Kyf did a nice job on the music.  I really like the part where you were riding with Sven -- was that on the trails where you run around Willow?  And when the other teams pass from the other direction.......WOOHOOOOOO!!! 
I'm going to watch it again tonight.  CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

I just finished watching "See You in Nome" starring rookie musher Sven Haltmann  ....  Donna did a wonderful job in the  presenation of this DVD and the training/work involved by Sven in preparing for  his rookie run in the 2008  Last Great Race - the Iditarod Race.     It also shows the love and dedication/love/ trust/bond  between this  musher and his dogs.    It will make you laugh and smile also, especially as you watch them rolling in the snow. ...
